The Intern Who Replaced God

Heaven turns out to be a sweatshop office on an assembly line. Chad, a demoted intern who caused trouble, is forced to take over the management of Earth’s idle old servers. God, who has been absent for over 800 years, is addicted to online games and unreachable. Chad’s erroneous operations arbitrarily tamper with the weather, the economy, and human bodily functions, plunging the mortal world into chaos and mayhem. At his lowest point, Chad awakens to the truth: that chaos and variables are the uniquely vibrant force of humanity. He rallies a group of ordinary people who have gained supernatural abilities due to bugs, launching a network assault powered by billions of prayers. They break through the defenses and successfully force God’s game account to crash.
